Young Designer Throw - Camagu by Lunathi Mfanta
'Camagu', designed by Lunathi Mfanta, formed as part of our 2022 Young Designer Throw competition. A winning design of 1310 entries within South Africa!
‘Camagu’ is a Xhosa term which means “let it be so" and “thank you".
Who says a blanket isn’t a garment? Our artful throws definitely do double duty and should be enjoyed inside out, literally and figuratively. 😉
Lunathi Mfanta is a student inspired by a love for design, African fractals and culture. He attempts to bend straight lines and to straighten curved lines - all in pursuit of creating something new from existing ideas. His body of work is rich in culture and pays homage to his spirituality, his ancestors, and the positive energies within his circle.
