The Essentialist is our first move into lighter-weight dressing: pared back, considered, and very good at doing more with less.

Cut from a fluid Tencel-linen blend, it features our exclusive in-house Wildflower motif, embroidered and strikingly placed at the hem. The pattern forms part of our Apertures & Field Notes story. Read more about the inspiration behind it here.

Long, relaxed and deliberately uncomplicated, with practical side pockets and just enough detail to make you look twice.

SILHOUETTE: Straight fit. Longline silhouette designed to fall towards the ankles, depending on height. Finished with practical side-seam pockets. Back length measures 135cm from the back neckline to the hem across all sizes

FABRICATION: Tencel-linen blend (80% Tencel, 20% Linen), with 100% cotton embroidery 

PROCESS: Locally made in Johannesburg by a woman-owned CMT

COLOURS: Black with multi colour embroidered detail on the front and back hem

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Follow the garment care label. For Tencel-linen blends, a gentle wash at a low temperature is generally recommended. Avoid harsh detergents and high heat. Reshape while damp and air dry where possible. Gently steam iron.
